IC's most flexible service delivery mechanism, IC-Air is scalable and
'on the fly' upgradeable (with only minutes of downtime) right through
to 34Mb/s.
Higher speeds are available and pricing is available on request,
speeds available from 256Kb/s - 34Mb/s on a single link.
Please Note: All products listed above are subject to a 12
month minimum contract.
*All hardware provided for provision of IC-Air remains the property
of Internet Central Limited and is managed and maintained by our support
staff, this includes but is not limited to:- Radio Dish, Mounting poles
& clamps, Cables & Power Supplies.

Private Circuits
IC-Air is installed along with a Vigor Firewall / Router
with 4 x 10/100 Ethernet ports. The Firewall is owned and
maintained by IC staff and supports up to 16 VPN tunnels,
uPNP and many other features.
IC-Air - Wireless Broadband+
Internet Central have built a private radio infrastructure
around North Staffordshire & South Cheshire. This
infrastructure has various PoP's in key areas from which we
can provide end user connections within an 8Km radius. We
provide a radio transmitter / receiver unit on your premises
and this links your network to the local PoP, in turn this
PoP is then linked into our backbone infrastructure and
ultimately onto the Internet.
What are it's uses?
IC-Air can be used for straight Internet connections, or if
you have multiple offices then you could use the connection
to Interlink your sites together (VPN) and also to the
Internet.
Summary
IC-Air has been
designed to provide both a ‘next step’ in broadband
evolution from ADSL, but to be more flexible than SDSL
services. It is also suitable for Leased Line Replacement
services, as it is often cheaper to run and more scalable
than traditional fixed leased line services.
