Our hosting facilities have 24 hour security and monitoring with card-based access for personnel and escort-only access for customers. Temperature control is maintained by the very latest air conditioning systems with UPS and generator power systems online constantly. In addition to having space within multiple Telehouses we also have our own privately owned datacentre in Keele, which benefits from multiple network feeds, CCTV monitoring, sophisticated alarm system for security.

Firewall / UTM Device

Before any connection can be provided for your servers to the Internet IC require that you have an ICSA labs certified firewall, you may provide your own (this counts as a device above) or IC can provide one for you.

Connection to the Public Internet*

IC's data centre's have resilient Internet access feeds with high capacity links to the UK major peering points and UK providers networks plus multiple transatlantic and European access feeds for fast connectivity with built in provider resilience. Charging is based on usage and this ensures no overcrowding or congestion within the networks, you quite literally get what you pay for in bandwidth from IC. Choose the most appropriate charging model, either GB data used total per month or average throughput measured using 95th percentile method.
